War Poet.ca - A CFAP Project by Suzanne Steele

met my supervisor today. thus begins the steps towards the PhD. I have won an amazing award which will allow me to study overseas and write:

A Poet’s Road to War with the Patricias
the 1st Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry
Task Force 3-09, Afghanistan 2009

this will be a collection of my work with critical analysis. and of course I shall also include the Air Force, Navy, and other Army regiments with whom I spent time. they all helped me get there and back…

but anyway, there’s lots more in the pipeline.

When you say “critical analysis”, are you referring to analysis of your work, or analysis of the subject matter?

well I guess I’ll try and place my work in the greater context. not political though.

With all the hoopla, don’t forget where, and how, this work began.
