just received this in my inbox this morning. haven’t a clue who this is. the only comment I have is that if I wanted fame or fortune it certainly wouldn’t be as a Canadian war poet. still, what an interesting thing to say S. Durnin.
There was a poet named Steele
With an army she made a deal
She said she was willing
To take in some killing
So her poems would gain wide appeal.
