guest haiku (British Army!)

a lot of messages come through to me via this site. recently I had a contact from a British soldier. this one has seen deployments in A’stan and Iraq. here are two of his haiku he gave me permission to post. I particularly like the line “The General dines elsewhere”.

The front office waits
The General dines elsewhere
The phones are silent

Bordeom threshold reached
Energy levels zero
We sneak out softly
