War Poet.ca - A CFAP Project by Suzanne Steele

article on war artists

nice article by a lovely young reporter who interviewed me at the National War Museum last week.

correction though. I dropped in and out of the Patricia’s road to war over a period of 18 months. visited them in A’stan in Nov. 2009. went to their funerals. repat. memorial.

I’d go back to A’stan in a heartbeat.

and there is a before and an after Somalia. new army old army. ditto the Charter of Rights. new army old army. my character M in May Day lived both.

and I know an ex-airborne. he’s managed new army just fine. but old army is tattoo’ed onto his shoulder, his biceps.

gucci the faded ink. forever. on his skin.
